Kiwanis Bed Race - February 2008 Law Day Walk/Run Shepherds of Good Hope
BRAZEAUSELLERBy volunteering at this super Soup Kitchen, we fulfilled our Firm’s civic responsibility. Responding to the incredible needs of the poor proved to be a challenging activity. As we peeled potatoes, made sandwiches and buttered buns, we gave our best. Zealous by nature and exuding confidence, we didn’t even take time to rest. Eager to serve the most vulnerable with joy, we treated them with dignity. Actually, it was not our right to judge them. Loving them was our duty. Undeterred in our pledge to do so, we served them with compassion. Seeking to brighten their day, we provided them a meal with enthusiasm. Each time we looked at their faces, we noticed that many appeared content. Life had left indelible scars of suffering on their hearts; some were impatient. Learning from them as they struggled with life reminded us of our vulnerabilities. Establishing quality rapport with them facilitated the fulfilment of our responsibilities. Really, we’re proud of our Legal Firm, BrazeauSeller.LLP, for permitting us to come here. Poem written by Raymond D. Tremblay (SGH STAFF) © in appreciation of the employees of BrazeauSeller.LLP, who volunteered at the Shepherds of Good Hope on Feb. 12th, 2010: Fred K., Brent S., Jacquie S. and Sarah C.
