David Spears joined BrazeauSeller.LLP in 2005 to continue his employment and labour law practice after spending six years with the Toronto office of a large national law firm. David represents unions in all labour relations matters, including grievance arbitrations, labour board proceedings, and collective bargaining.  He also represents employers and employees in employment litigation, employment standards complaints, human rights proceedings, and occupational health and safety matters. He also assists employers in developing and implementing a variety of workplace policies.

David is an experienced advocate who recognizes that the impact of losing a job is more than just financial. His clients appreciate his empathetic approach to the life issues surrounding employment matters. David is always well prepared to fight on his clients’ behalf, looking for the practical solution in disputes.

David has a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of Waterloo and a law degree from the University of Windsor. He is married and has one daughter. When David has spare time, you can spot him on the golf course or, more likely, in the woods beside the course looking for his ball.
