Stephanie joined BrazeauSeller.LLP as a summer student in 2007. After completing her articles with the firm and being called to the Ontario Bar in 2009, Stephanie joined BrazeauSeller.LLP as a litigation associate. Stephanie’s areas of practice include civil, corporate and commercial litigation.

Stephanie is also a member of BrazeauSeller.LLP’s sister firm, Howard Yegendorf & Associates, which specializes in personal injury and insurance litigation.

Prior to entering the field of law, Stephanie completed a Bachelor of Journalism from Carleton University and graduated on the Dean’s List. During her time at Carleton, Stephanie interned at the Globe & Mail and received numerous scholarships, including two scholarships for excellence in print journalism.  Following her undergraduate studies, Stephanie used her journalism experience as a press secretary to several members of the federal cabinet. In her capacity as press secretary, Stephanie had the opportunity to see first hand how laws are created and implemented. It was this experience that prompted Stephanie’s decision to go to law school.

While obtaining her law degree at the University of Ottawa, Stephanie was heavily involved in the law school community. She was a peer advisor, a member of the student government executive and volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada. Stephanie graduated cum laude and received the Perley-Robertson, Hill and McDougall LLP Prize for highest standing in Federal Tribunals Practice, as well as the Shore, Davis & McGarvey Prize for highest standing in Selected Issues in Feminist Law.

Stephanie was born and raised in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. In her spare time she enjoys writing and jogging alongside the Rideau Canal.
